Club Equipment


The club is located near entry A. Turn left into a small car park (before the CERN entry barrier). The kayak club is immediately on the right.

There is a large hangar to store our kayaks and a small chalet to store the paddles, buoyancy jackets and other small equipment.

We have a large selection of kayaks (and a few canoes) adapted to different aspects of the sport, such as flat water paddling, or white water. Members have the opportunity to develop their skills, trying out different boats, from complete beginner level to advanced paddling in elite performance boats.

Some examples of the canoes and kayaks available to members is as follows....

2 open canadian canoes

2 closed cockpit canoes for white water and slalom

1 double canoe (C2) for slalom

1 inflatable kayak for initiation in white water paddling

3 white water river running kayaks

4 slalom kayaks

9 white water descent kayaks (also good for intermediate paddlers on flat water)

>10 general purpose kayaks, suitale for complete beginners

2 single place sea kayaks

1 double marathon sea kayak

4 flat water racing kayaks (K1)

2 surfskis

2 stand-up-paddle (SUP) boards

1 Dragon boat (stored at Lake Divonne)

The club has 1 large and 1 small trailer for boat transport, and a minibus, sponsored by Ford. We have 2 additional boat storage sites by the water, at Lake Divonne and by the Rhone at Aire la Ville.
