Hello my fellow boaters (and boaters-to-be)
We have set-up an introduction to flat water kayaking course for beginners with instructor René Dague consisting of 5 classes:
- 24 May
- 2 June
- 9 June
- 16 June
- 23 June
(Note – You do not need to be a club member to attend the beginner classes with René, but are welcome to subscribe to the club if you would like to attend our more-advanced member outings.)
Here’s the information for the classes:
- No prior experience needed, but an ability to swim and comfort around water is mandatory.
- Meeting time/place: 18:30 at Divonne lake
- Course location: Lac Divonne (~30 minutes from CERN by car.)
- Transportation: Carsharing
- Gear: We will provide all the gear, but please bring water shoes (or shoes that can get wet) and a swim suit or wetsuit (if you have one.)
- Price: 15 euros per class or 75 euros for the 5-course package (Note: You are not obligated to attend every class, but we recommend first timers try to attend the early sessions.)
- Payment: Bank transfer to club (details below)
- Class size: Limited to 10 students per outing. Priority given to those who sign-up first.
